If you never read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, I suggest you to read it first before you read Tsubasa World Chronicle because their stories are related. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle follows the journey of Sakura, Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane to travel dimensions, helped by Mokona (a creature gifted by Yuko, a dimensional witch). Each of them have different reasons to travel dimensions. Syaoran and Sakura are from Clow Kingdom, they are childhood friends. Syaoran is a young archaeologist while Sakura is a princess of Clow Kingdom. They travel across dimensions to gather Sakura’s soul (formed as feathers, shattered by the villain Fei-Wong Reed to obtain the power to bring back the dead one). In order to travel dimensions, they must pay a great price, the thing most important to them. Syaoran pays with her memories with Sakura, so does Sakura, she pays with her memories with Syaoran. Meanwhile Fai wishes to not return to his home world, Celes, to avoid his King, Ashuras. He offers the tattoo that suppresses his enomormous magical strength and power. Kurogane wants to travel across dimensions to return to his world after being banished by Princess Tomoyo so he can learn what the meaning of true strength. His price is his sword, Ginryu. It later reveals that the Sakura and Syaoran who first do the journey are not the original Sakura and Syaoran, they are both clones. The original Sakura was kidnapped by Fei-Wong Reed and placed near him while the original Syaoran was prisoned. He gave one of his eye as a soul for clone Syaoran, that’s why the clone had memories about Syaoran’s life. Well actually it really a complicated story, but in the end Fei-Wong Reed gets killed, both the original Sakura and Syaoran are back to Clow Kingdom, accompanied by Kurogane and Fai. The truth is, Syaoran is actually not from Clow Kingdom, he’s sent by his mother who could see future through her dream to Clow Kingdom because someone in Clow Kingdom needed him. Both of Sakura and Syaoran share the same name, Tsubasa –the title of the manga itself-. Syaoran, Kurogane, Fai, and Mokono decide to leave Clow Kingdom and thus begins the story of Tsubasa World Chronicle. Well, later I’ll try to recap Tsubasa World Chronicle. Please pray for me, because my life is getting bussier –a thing called apothecary work practice will begin on Monday-, but as long as I don’t complain and enjoy my life, it will be okay.

Syaoran and Sakura, they're really sweet together, aren't they?
To be continued….
