Cast :
Plot :
A drama about a 30 years old woman,
Cheng You Qing and her 14 years bestfriend, Li Da Ren. Li Da Ren sent an email
to Cheng You Qing on her 30th birthday about ‘the symptom of
premature aging’, later she made a bet with Li to see who will get married
first before they turned 35. As she looked
around for a potential husband, she discovered that she was surrounded by
unacceptable candidates, like gay assistant or cheating ex-boyfriend. The only
man who could love her despite all her flaws is her best friend. The only
problem was that they both swore that they were not or will ever be
romantically attracted to each other.
Actually the drama released in 2011,
unfortunately I only managed to watch it on Dec, 2014. The premise is simple,
about a bestfiend turns in to lover and later husband. But who doesn’t love
this kind of story? What makes it complicated is the journey itself to find the
meaning of true love.
Acting :
I love Ariel Lin in this drama. As a korean drama
lover, this is my first time to watch Taiwanese drama since Silence. So in my
limited opinion, Ariel’s chemistry with Bolin is great, because they could make
me shedding tears and investing in their story. Okay, actually Bolin is amazing
as Li Da Ren, potrayed a calm and understanding bestfriend. Me, myself wants a
bestfriend like him, only if he does exist in this real world.
Lesson learnt : better to write a song to express your feeling
(kidding J). Well the truth is having a bestfriend as your
spouse, is the most amazing thing happened in life.
P.S I’m writing this
review while listening to I won’t love you by Chen Bo-Lin, and tear is almost
flying out from my eyes. Bolin’s voice is so so (sorry), but its lyrics are
mesmerizing
